Valens

I work across technical research, venture, and advisory, with a background in applied cryptography, AI systems, decentralized systems, and developer infrastructure. I've worked with venture teams on technical due diligence and advisory, evaluating architectures, integrations, technical risk, and emerging technologies. I also love research and writing: investigating new technologies, developing technical theses, and turning complex systems into clear, useful analysis.

I'm a member of the International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR), with current research spanning post-quantum cryptography, AI agent security, transaction simulation, wallet policy, and safe execution before signing.

My tutorials on decoding calldata and simulating transactions are featured on Ethereum.org's official developer tutorials. My work has been referenced by the MIT Digital Currency Initiative (in collaboration with JPMorgan Kinexys) and the University of Messina as part of post-quantum cryptography research and education.

Through AEO, I help teams structure content so products and research surface accurately in AI search and LLM answers. Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Post-QuantumEducationCryptography

Problem

Post-quantum cryptography tradeoffs are hard to reason about without concrete comparisons of signature sizes and infrastructure cost.

Approach

Built an interactive educational platform comparing Dilithium, Falcon, SPHINCS+, and classical algorithms with visual infra tradeoffs.

Outcome

Referenced by MIT DCI (in collaboration with JPMorgan Kinexys) and listed as a recommended resource by the University of Messina Quantum Computing and Information Systems Lab.

BLS Lab

CryptographyEducationToolkit

Problem

Applied cryptography concepts like BLS signatures and secret sharing are often inaccessible without dense academic material.

Approach

Shipped a modern toolkit of interactive tools: signature aggregation, hashing playgrounds, function selectors, and Shamir’s Secret Sharing, for developers and students.

Outcome

A public cryptography lab used for education and hands-on exploration of protocols that power modern blockchain systems.

CypherAid

AdvocacyLegalPublic Goods

Problem

Crypto developers facing legal pressure often lack coordinated, transparent funding pathways for defense and related tech causes.

Approach

Designed and launched a platform supporting legal funds for crypto developers and technology causes worldwide.

Outcome

A public-facing initiative connecting community support to legal defense and developer advocacy.
